Arangetram Registry is free for artists and for gurus, and it will stay that way. There is no fee to create a profile, no premium tier, no advertising, and nothing about you is sold to anyone.
Running it is not free. If the registry has been useful to you or to someone in your family, you can chip in toward what it costs. Any amount helps, and none of it is expected.
What contributions pay for
- Hosting and the domain name
- Daily database backups, so nothing published here is lost
- Email delivery for verification and notifications
- The time it takes to review every profile before it goes live
What your contribution does not do
It does not affect how profiles are reviewed. Every submission is read and approved on its own merits, in the order it arrives, whether or not anyone connected to it has ever contributed a penny.
It does not buy a badge, a better position, or any feature that another artist does not already have for free.
You choose the amount. Card, Apple Pay and Google Pay accepted.
Payments are handled by Stripe — we never see your card details.
Is this a donation?
Not in the legal sense. Arangetram Registry is operated by Ethos Agora LLC, a company rather than a registered charity, so contributions are voluntary payments toward running costs and are not tax-deductible.
Do I need an account?
No. You do not need a profile on the registry, and you do not need to sign in to contribute.
Is it recurring?
No. It is a one-time payment. Nothing is stored, and nothing will be charged again.
Can I get a refund?
Yes. If you contributed by mistake or simply change your mind, write to contactus@arangetramregistry.com within 30 days and we will refund it in full, no questions asked.
Will you ever charge artists?
No. Profiles for artists and gurus are free and will remain free. If the registry ever earns money, it will be from businesses listing in the vendor directory — never from the artists whose work it exists to record.
